DEVELOPMENT OF KEMAMAN PORT, TERENGGANU
The project involved the construction of a new harbour on a fairly open stretch of coast, where difficulties from wind, current and swell were foreseen which have considerable influence on the design of the approach channel. Also, a deep turning basin and berthing area had to be dredged in the shallow water.

• Dredging (11 million c.u.m) for east wharf, turning basin and channel and reclamation for east wharf and Telok Kalong Industrial Estate
• 648m long east wharf (3 berths) constructed using R.C. caisson and subjected to loading from crane, HB loading, bollard pull and berthing load of 150,000 DWT vessels

WHARF 8 EXTENSION (WHARF 8A), UPGRADING OF WHARF 16 AND ASSOCIATED WORKS
The Wharf 8 extension comprises the construction of a 350m multipurpose wharf and associated facilities with berthing furniture, a pair of 20m wide approach access bridges, a new electrical substation, a wharf office, including mechanical and electrical works, water mains, fire hydrant, high mast lighting, dredging at new berth area and removal of sediment mound under the existing wharf, demolition of the existing marine jetty, part of its bridges, existing roll on roll off ramp, existing substation, dismantling of existing tower light and demolition of foundation. The works for the upgrading of Wharf 16 is principally associated with the upgrading of existing crane rail beam and turn over pit, wharf ancillaries, including cable protection system, rail and rail clip, replacing existing fenders, carry out conditional assessment and erecting 5 new high mast of 45m height.

PROPOSED REPAIR AND REFURBISHMENT OF EXISTING JETTY AT LUMUT PERAK
The Malayan Flour Mill existing jetty was used for the import of materials for the manufacturing of their primary product of flour. The repair and refurbishment works of the existing jetty comprises of steel pipe piles, steel fender frame structure and etc. The design and recommendation of the repair methods were proposed and carried out including pile jacketing on the existing steel pipe piles and replacement of corroded steel frame structure.
